A new original design by Karen that was recently exhibited at the AQS Daytona Beach show. It is a "happy quilt" as one of the viewers stated! Medallion style quilts have been popular since the early 19th century. Using fabric popular today is a fun way to update this classic design. It's not a difficult pattern, so select your theme of fabric - repro, contemporary, batiks. Then hit your stash to create this stunning quilt. Skills that will be demonstrated: applique techniques and simple paper piecing.
